It was very 'smart' of the random picked game from AGS this month, with the Australian Open tennis event coming up.  The GOTHEM for January is 'Advantage Tennis'!  a great old tennis game! Have fun!

AGA Game of the Month / Re: September 2024 - Blake Stone: Aliens Of Gold

Well that was a lot of fun.

It took a bit of searching to find a game that would work with the Aminet files.

I eventually found a working version of it on archive.org  https://archive.org/details/BlakeStoneAliensOfGoldUSA

Some of the other versions, for example the DOSBox version didn't work with the Aminet files.

This ran great on my PiStorm32.  Nice and fast and I completed the game levels 1-9 on the required difficulty level two - skilled agent.

I enjoyed this much more than Gloom, and I just thought I'd say as much, because while I was trying to find a working version of the game, I ran across people in forums suggesting that Gloom would be a better option.  I would have to say it's worth playing through, but you might need a fast Amiga.  I haven't tried it on a slower machine as yet.

My Score: 1925805

Played on my A1200 PiStorm32, no keys, passwords or cheats were used.

My TRS-80 FreHD Update Story - TrsVid - Part 2

“TrsVid” is amazing! Hats off to George Phillips! Being a “late” returner to the TRS-80 world, it was a new discovery for me, I just had to get it going!

It will remain here!

Will the old "Articles" remain? - Yes, I see no need to move them at this time - https://www.amigaretro.com/index.php?cat=2

Hello and Welcome!

User and "Publication" rules are the same as the forum (now includes "Project/Article" section)https://www.amigaretro.com/index.php/topic,9.0.html

To "start" us out, access and publication will be on an application basis! What I mean by that is simply, that if you would like to "Publish" a Retro / Amiga related Article or Project, drop us a line via any means you wish and let us know what you would like to publish!

You can "private" message me here on the Forum or on Facebook! Or you can email me at "info" @ "amigaretro.com"

Please Note: You will need to have a "forum" login (to access the Projects Chat area) and separate "Projects/Articles" Publishing login.

We can accelerate this process significantly or article publication.

If the site proves to be sufficiently popular we may open if up to all forum members without application.

Thank you! We look forward to helping you Publish your Projects!
