As no one participated, let's keep this going this month.  Looks like a good game.  Hopefully I find some more time!

Amiga 3000 / FastATA4000 support bracket for A3000
« Last post by subpar_solderer on November 27, 2025, 07:52:00 pm »
Hi folks!

My A3000 is setup with a FastATA4000 board to run my CF adapter. The board is short and doesn't reach the support rungs that most boards slot into. I know it's no a huge concern but I'm bother that it's just hanging off the side of the daughter board, I feel like it won't do the contacts any good in the long run.

Does anyone have such a setup and how have you dealt with this problems?

Kind regards.

Phase 2 of level design is going extremely well, with 31 of the 42 total levels having been finished.  The developer now estimates this level-polishing phase will be completed by the end of November 2025.

Phase 3:  December 2025 to January 2026 - Integration of final graphics into the game.

Optimization Phase:  February 2026 to March 2026 - Special effects, sound, and music will be implemented in the game.

Beta Test:  April 2026 to June 2026 - All campaign backers will receive a digital copy of the Neo Geo beta version, no matter which platform you backed - i.e. Neo Geo, Genesis / Mega Drive, Dreamcast, Switch, PS5, Xbox, PC (Steam).  So be prepared to experience the beta using the flash cart, FPGA, or emulation device of your choice.  The developer is counting on you to help iron out all bugs and give useful feedback, as Shadow Gangs Zero is very much a community-driven effort.

Gold:  The developer is aiming for the final Neo Geo version to be released by July / August 2026.  Once that's done, the versions for the remaining platforms will be developed and released in fairly rapid succession.

Don't miss out on the fun.  The campaign is accepting new pledges:

So far, £115K has been raised.  We're just £5K away from reaching the final stretch goal of £120K, which will enable the inclusion of six unique mini-bosses - e.g. Ferocious fire-breathing dragon, Military helicopter dropping high-caliber rounds from above, Cannon wall with an arsenal of heavy fire, etc.

Thanks for your help.

P.S.  Did you know that Shadow Gangs Zero has a 2-player cooperative gameplay mode?  That means you can play solo, or with a friend!

Game of the Month for November 2025: Saint Dragon

On a far distant planet you must prepare to fight the final battle!
An evil force of monster machines has risen to conquer the Galaxy. One by one the peaceful races of the Galaxy have been attacked and enslaved by the Cyborg Monsters. None has the strength to stand against the power of the Cyborgs, until one lone rebel rises from within the ranks of the mechanised monsters.

Part dragon, part machine, the Cyborg Warrior fights back against its tyrant masters. The Galaxy has a Hero. Hope returns to the hearts of the people at the rise of the Armoured Champion they call, “SAINT DRAGON”.

In this reverse of the Saint George legend you must fly the Armoured Dragonship through five levels of non stop destruction. Choose between fireballs, bouncing bombs, ring lasers and turret weapons to blast your way through the armoured pumas, mechanical cobras, giant cyborg bull and a host of other mutant machines. But remember fire power isn’t everything! Your ship has an armoured tail. Use it well and you may just survive.

Well done mate!  Best I could manage was 1098 and 6 lines.  Yep sure is fast.  At first I thought I had to line up colours but there are a lot of variation, then I realised you can line up any colour to remove a row.. oh well, hope to put more time in next month.

No cheats or passwords played on my A1200

Thank you! Wow! Amazed myself! I was sure that would be the worst score ever!

Going to give this a bash on my new "toy". I just added the Amiga core to it!

Well.. its fast.. or is it just me! Do much better with Tetris normally...  Joystick type controls.. not good for me in this case!

All done as "the green" instructions!

Best is: 2321 (21 Lines)..
