I know I'd like to say it was SOTB, because well that just blew me away when I first saw it but I have to be honest. We had an 800XL and I got to experience I think it was Amiga Karate and maybe something else. I was suitably impressed. It was then that I knew I wanted a 16 bit machine.
What was the first Amiga game that impressed you?
Amiga Karate in all it's glory ;)

For me Defender of the Crown was very impressive visually and audibly but the gameplay was kind of underdone.
The game that made me think that this thing was like the arcade at home was Marble Madness- while I didn’t have a trackball the mouse did a pretty reasonable job as an alternative.

Frontier: Elite II blew me away. I begged my parents for a number of weeks, and pulled in all favours (birthdays, Christmas etc) to get them to buy it for me. Still like it today :)

Backlash, for me. It was just so fast and smooth.

It was my first computer so pretty much everything was like this. Especially when comparing to my friend's 286.
Lionheart *really* did it on the all round package for me at the time!

Lionheart was quite an epic title for the system.

Marble Madness... Simple... Perhaps.. But I always remember it as Very Impressive on the A1000 at the time!

A mate of mine showed me AudioMaster and I was amazed and then he showed me Defender of the Crown. I had to get one after that.
