Maybe it's because of the "Maxi" variant https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/c64/254494-the-c64-full-sized is out and they are trying to clear out stock after Christmas?

I would prefer one of these compared to the Mini since it comes with the keyboard business and the competition pro style of joystick has micro switches and metal shaft (unlike the mini which I think just had leaf contacts and a plastic shaft) but I'm not quite up to paying $200 for one.

Yes, $200 is a little on the high side!

Willing to look at the Mini at such a good price!

Have been super impressed with the PlayStation Classics which I got for around the same price!
