WORLD OF COMMODORE 2022 Computer Show - Toronto - Dec. 3 and 4 !
« on: November 25, 2022, 11:42:14 am »
HELLO AMIGA FANS:

If you'd be interested in attending the World of Commodore 2022 computer show either in-person or virtually on Saturday December 3 and Sunday December 4, please visit this webpage:  https://www.tpug.ca/world-of-commodore/world-of-commodore-2022/

The World of Commodore show is organized by TPUG (Toronto PET Users Group), who took over operation of the show in the new millennium after Commodore's bankruptcy in the mid-1990's.  TPUG was founded in 1979, and is the longest continually-operating Commodore users group in the world!  Past TPUG members include renowned Commodore guru Jim Butterfield, and legendary programmer-genius Steve Punter.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Commodore 64 - the best-selling computer model of all time, so come and celebrate this amazing milestone with us.

TPUG plans to stream the show live on YouTube, which you can watch for free.  However, if you support TPUG by paying an entry fee as a virtual visitor, you will have the opportunity to join the Zoom session live and ask questions of the guest speakers:

David John Pleasance - Former Commodore UK managing director
Dan Wood - YouTube and podcasting superstar
Bill Degnan - Kennett Classic computer museum
Jim Orlando - New games for the Commodore PET
Dan Laskowski - Fast Fingers music software
John Hammarberg - c2 cross assembler
Greg Nacu - Advancements in C64 OS
Jeffrey Brace - Vice President of the Vintage Computer Federation
Amiga Bill - YouTube and Twitch Stream superstar
Jeff Schaap - Producer of the film "I Adore My 64"
Randy Rossi - VIC-II Kawari
Jaime Idolpx - The Meatloaf project
Ranko Rodic - Minimig updates
SIMULCAST: Transmission64 Demo Party

If you're coming from out of town, the show is conveniently held at the Admiral Inn Mississauga, and you may book your accommodations here:  https://www.admiralinn.com/mississauga/

Thanks for all your support, and see you at the show!
