Got my A1200 all up and running with ACA1233n-26 and we are WHDLoading SWIV - yeah!  played a fair bit tonight.  I even read the manual!  Found out when shooting the 'goose' instead of picking up the items in a rush if you shoot them you can pick up different powerups!  Made it much easier with the spread shot and a bit of rapid fire mixed in.  New high score tonight is 235290!  Second last on the default heli scores table.
My Amigas:
A1200, ACA1233n-26.67, Gotek, IDE2SD 32GB, WB3.1.4, HID2AMI (Gaming)
A2000, Gotek, A2091 SCSI, SCSI2SD 32GB, WB3.1, HID2AMI (Apps & dev)
NinjaKat console - mini arcade cabinet powered by Amiberry/Raspberry Pi 4
A500 Mini

It definitely helps! And the more you pick up that type of powerup, you can keep it when you die (I think that's how it works...).

You can also shoot the protection bubble a few times to destroy everything on screen.
