CrowPi2 - Pi4 / 400 side project
« on: January 04, 2021, 10:40:11 am »
My CrowPi2 arrived, great little machine for STEM use (as its intended).

Its my first Pi4 system... apart from the new Pi400! So I hope to build a common image for both machines!

I noted - to my great surprise & joy - Manjaro have released a Mate Desktop version of their ARM image (being an old-school Linux user I have always loved Mate as an efficient desktop)

Manjaro (https://manjaro.org/download/)

With that in mind I decided to start a new build based on Manjaro Mate that i can use on both systems.

Basic install and configuration went very well! When I have got it all running as I would like I will try the image on the Pi 400!
